In September 2013 the decision was made to sell our family home of over 50 years. We searched the Surfcoast area for a real estate agency with whom we felt comfortable and would get the best possible price, but wouldn't swamp us with sales double talk. We were looking for an experienced, honest, hard working, enthusiastic, straight shooting agency. We found all that in Smythe Real Estate at Anglesea. The Agencys' philosophy is based around giving priority to the Owners needs. This can be difficult to put into practice as it takes two parties to make a sale. However, we were comfortable that Smythe's got this balance right. Their 'estimated Sale Price range' was the highest we received and the price obtained was at the top-end of the range. We were delighted with their approach to selling our property. They were extremely enthusiastic, hard working, providing excellent communication throughout the selling process and good feedback about prospective Buyers' opinions and likelihood of bidding. Advertising costs were quite reasonable; there was no pressure to add extra advertising that we didn't believe was justifiable.
